Why should students choose UNA? Students should choose UNA because of the abundance of experiences, opportunities, and memories that are waiting for them here. One of the two things that have impacted me the most as a UNA student has been the people here who have been in my corner, such as staff, mentors, and colleagues, who truly want what is best for me and to see me succeed. I would not be where I am today if it were not for the many professors and people who have helped me in and outside of the classroom during my time here at UNA. Secondly, has been the opportunity to be able to meet and make lifelong friends through the organizations and clubs that I have been a part of. I am so thankful that UNA has opened doors in my life that allowed me to get involved and find the people that I connect with and who also have the same goals. UNA provides such a unique, fun, and special college experience that I truly believe cannot be found anywhere else.

What is your favorite UNA memory? My favorite UNA memory has to be my first Big Deal. The Big Deal is an event that usually falls on the second day of the fall semester where they block off Court Street, and it feels like a massive block party. It embodies UNA's culture of family and everyone being so connected, and it truly shows why UNA is such an amazing campus!

Why did you apply for LaGrange Society? I applied for the LaGrance Society because I remember my first impression of campus and how valuable that experience was. The last 2 years at UNA have been so very special for me, I have come to love this university. Why did you apply for LaGrange Society? I applied for LaGrange because I was nervous coming in as a transfer student, but the LaGranger who gave my a tour of UNA showed me how this place is truly home away from home. So, after my first year at UNA, I knew I wanted to help create that experience for others as well Now, the fact that I get to place a small part on helping incoming students discover that UNA can be their home too is such an honor and a joy.

What is your favorite UNA memory? My favorite UNA memory was the Big Deal. I met some of my best friends at the Big Deal. It's a way for you you to see all campus has to offer. The Big Deal shows you the home atmosphere campus that to offer. I never could have chose a better place.

What is your favorite UNA memory? My favorite UNA memory happened by freshman year of college. It snowed for a week straight and me and my friends would go out every day and sometimes night. One nights we went out into the snow and went sledding. During this time, I went down a hill with one of my best friends and hit a massive jump. THis was one of my favorite memories.

What is your favorite UNA memory? One of my favorite UNA memories is from the LaGrange Retreat. One night we camp with with and preformed skits. It was one of the funniest things to watch. We really bonded!

What is your favorite UNA memory? One of my favorite memories at UNA has to be winning Step Sing my freshman year. Step Sing is a campus wide competition where student groups choreograph high energy performances filled with music and dancing. Its an incredible tradition that brings students together for a time of creativity, community, and unforgettable fellowship.

Why did you apply for LaGrange Society? I chose to be part of the LaGrange Society because I wanted to help others find their sense of home - juts like I did. When I toured campus (A LOT OF TIMES), my tour guide always made me feel welcome, comfortable, and confident that I belonged here. That experience stayed with me, and reassured me in that I have found my home, and now I want to be that same reassuring presence for future students. I hope to help someone else feel that sense of security and belonging - I want to help someone find the moment they realize they've found the right place and are ready to become a future lion.

Why did you apply for LaGrange Society? When I went on my tour of UNA, the LaGrange Society members were so welcoming and comforting. They truly made me feel at home in a place where I didn't know anyone. After my tour, I knew I wanted the opportunity to be that for someone else, so I applied to LaGrange last spring! It has been the biggest blessing!
